If you have a few minutes, I’d love to give you my thoughts on these movies. They’re quite different from what we have here in Equestria, I’ll admit. You humans do have some strange tastes.
But they’re still films, and I still have thoughts on them. I have my favorites, just as you have yours. We may not agree on them, but that’s perfectly fine. We all like different things, after all.
And I promise to give you my honest thoughts on these films with no strings attached. No shady puppetmasters telling me what to say or what to do. No immature foals desperately trying to come off as something they’re not.
No ego.
No arrogance.
Only movies.
My name is Movie Slate. Let’s go watch some movies.
So this picture has been a long time coming. And I do mean a long time.
As some of you may know, jamescorck , in addition to being one of the God-tier artists in Bronydom, is a good friend of mine. And I’ve long been a fan of his OC Movie Slate. As her name suggests, she’s a pony that loves movies. Her official job is the owner of the theater in Ponyville that pops up in the show from time to time, but her main job on her blog(when she’s not crushing on Rarity) is to review movies. It’s a unique niche in bronydom and she was one of the first to capitalize on it.
So one of my long term SFM goals has been to get a model of her. But it’s one that’s taken a while to come to fruition because of one thing:
Her Mane. I mean look at it!
Thankfully, one of my colleagues in my super secret pony SFM discord, Jacob-LHh3, was able to whip up a model of her. And now, at long last, she’s made a proper entrance into the SFM realm!
She’ll be popping up more when I can figure out what to do with her. In the meantime, why not head over to her Tumblr and suggest movies for her to review? Maybe some 3D movies, perhaps?Namely because I’ve already called dibs on doing those updates.
Also, just for the record, her blog is not meant to be a not so subtle take that towards a certain internet critic.
